Artesania Latina Viking Longboat Wood Kit Model

Experience the wonder of building one of the famous 10th century Viking longboats of Gokstad. This ship was both manned by oars and propelled by sail. Authentically replicated, this highly detailed 1/75 scale version features plank-on-frame construction with pre-cut wooden parts. It also features wood, brass, copper and white metal parts, and includes two diameters of rigging line, sailcloth, a display stand and detailed step-by-step instructions. Ideal for beginning-level wood modelers.

Although complete plans and instructions are included, the limited English instructions provided require critical thinking and some modification as needed. This is not a build by numbers kit, and is not for everyone. Additional technique books, and or access to the advice of an experienced wood modeler or wood model club is recommended.
